This role focuses on evaluating program operations, supporting compliance, and assisting with research and reporting within the Bureau of Licensing and Enforcement. It also involves working closely with leadership, vendors, partners, and staff to support efficient and accurate processes. As a Program Analyst 2, you will perform the following duties:

Process Evaluation: Analyze program operations and recommend improvements for efficiency
Research Activities: Collect and review data from internal and external sources to support special projects
Report Preparation: Maintain business data and create monthly and annual reports for leadership
Order Management: Draft and process Consent Orders while coordinating hearings and follow up tasks
Vendor Coordination: Serve as the main contact for procurement needs and vendor interactions
Public Guidance: Provide technical answers for public inquiries and ensure accurate responses from staff

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

Full-time employment
Work hours are 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with 60-minute lunch.
Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time, two days per week in office. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg. The ability to telework is subject to change at any time. QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

One year as a Program Analyst 1 (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or
Two years of analytical experience, one of which includes professional experience in program evaluation and the development of program recommendations, and a bachelor's degree; or
An equivalent combination of experience and training.
