This position supports therapeutic programs by assessing consumer needs, developing goals, and maintaining accurate records that guide treatment. As a Therapeutic Activities Worker, you will perform the following duties:
- Consumer Assessment: Evaluate strengths, needs, and goals using standardized assessment tools
- Program Planning: Develop and implement therapeutic activity goals and plans for individual treatment
- Program Evaluation: Review program segments through observation and formal checks to ensure quality
- Record Maintenance: Maintain clinical and administrative records according to department standards
- Safety Compliance: Provide a safe program environment by following all safety requirements
- Team Participation: Attend treatment team meetings and share therapeutic activity recommendations

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
- Full-time employment
- Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30 minute lunch.
- Work weekends as scheduled
- Travel and overtime as needed
- May change based on operational needs.

UALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- Four years of experience providing therapeutic activities for individuals with physical, medical, or cognitive disabilities; or
- A bachelor’s degree with major coursework in therapeutic recreation; physical education; vocational rehabilitation; vocational education or counseling; art, music, dance, or occupational therapies; or a related human services field; or
- An equivalent combination of experience and training.
- Applicants will be considered to have met the educational requirements once they are within three months of graduating with a qualifying degree.
