Inspects custodial services in assigned areas, ensures compliance with standards, and resolves issues. Supervises team, organizes daily assignments, and oversees training. Communicates to determine needs and requests for special events. Determines, orders, and evaluates equipment and supplies. Submits and maintains forms, records, and requests.

Inspects custodial services in assigned areas daily to ensure work completed meets department standards and ensures issues in need of improvement are corrected. Assists in planning and organizing of custodians daily assignments, reassigns positions when special coverage is needed, maintains optimal coverage efficiency. Communicates with associated personnel to determine needs and requests for special events; ensures accurate setup and cleanup; identifies and resolves any related issues. Trains new employees on proper procedures and usage of all equipment, tools, machines, cleaning solvents, and chemicals; ensures all training manuals are current and correct; retrains employees as needed; conducts meetings as requested to review proper and effective work. Manages and submits payroll for custodial staff; maintains accurate administrative records for custodians. Determines custodial equipment, supplies, tools, and materials needed; orders supplies; evaluates and recommends chemicals, products, and equipment. Submits appropriate forms and requests including accident reports, emergency repairs, daily logs, and other related requests.
