This position plays a key role in planning, reviewing, and improving human services programs within the Department of Human Services. It supports program operations through analysis, coordination, and development of policies and procedures. As a Human Services Analyst, you will perform the following duties:
- Program Planning: Develop plans for implementing the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program Employment and Training (SNAP E&T) and related programs
- Policy Interpretation: Interpret regulations and recommend updates to policies and procedures
- Report Preparation: Prepare and review SNAP state plans, data reports, and monitoring documents
- Contract Oversight: Guide SNAP Job Experience and Training Services (SNAP JETS) contractors and assess program performance
- Training Development: Create and present training and guidance for staff and contractors
- Data Analysis: Collect and analyze program data to make recommendations

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
- Full-time employment, 37.5 hours per week
- Work hours are 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 60-minute lunch.
- Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time, up to 3 days per week. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg. The ability to telework is subject to change at any time. QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- One year of professional experience developing, implementing, or evaluating human services, social services, health care services, or health care insurance programs; and a bachelor’s degree; or
- An equivalent combination of experience and training that includes one year of professional experience developing, implementing, or evaluating human services, social services, health care services, or health care insurance programs.
