This position supports the daily upkeep of offices, restrooms and public areas. You will play a vital part in keeping facilities safe, presentable, and fully functional. As a Custodial Worker 1, you will perform the following duties: 

  • Restroom Care: Clean and sanitize restroom surfaces and fixtures; ensure supplies remain stocked
  • Office Cleaning: Dust and clean furniture, equipment, windows, and other items in offices and rooms
  • Floor Maintenance: Sweep, mop, buff, vacuum, and perform both routine and detailed floor care
  • Trash Handling: Collect and transport trash and recycling to designated pickup areas
  • Equipment Use: Operate cleaning tools and machinery and perform basic maintenance as needed
  • Outdoor Upkeep: Remove snow and debris from building entrances, sidewalks, and surrounding areas where needed

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

  • Note: This position is considered essential. You will be required to report to work during emergencies and office closings. 
  • Full-time employment
  • Work hours are 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 60-minute lunch.
  • Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.
  • Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.
