This position supports office operations and visitor services across the Laurel Hill State Park Complex. It plays an important role in helping park staff and guests with accurate information and organized records. As a Clerical Assistant 2, you will perform the following duties:
- Visitor Assistance: Provide information to park guests in person, by phone, and in writing
- Record Management: Organize and maintain files and logs for park operations and shared electronic folders
- Office Technology: Use software and office equipment to support daily tasks and transactions
- Communication Support: Prepare memos, assist with mail processing, send out form letters, and receipts of payments
- Reservation Handling: Manage reservations for park facilities and assist with related inquiries and processes
- Operational Support: Monitor social media, maintain brochures and bulletin boards, and assist with park reports

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
- Full-time, seasonal employment with no healthcare benefits.
- There is not an option to buy into health care benefits.
- Days/shifts will vary, will work 5 days/37.5 hours per week to include holidays and weekends
- The season runs from approximately March 2026 until November 2026 at which time the employee will be placed on leave without pay.
- The employee will automatically be returned to employment approximately March 2027.
- Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.
- Salary: Selected candidates who are new to employment within the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania will begin employment at the starting hourly rate of $18.83 (before taxes).

QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- Six months as a Clerical Assistant 1 (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or
- Graduation from high school; or
- An equivalent combination of experience and training.
