Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, implement, support, and maintain applications based on business requirements, using approved technologies and coding standards.
- Design, develop, implement, support, and maintain software components and systems to adhere to and satisfy engineering, scientific, regulatory, and manufacturing requirements.
- Design and develop Agentic AI applications that automate multi-step workflows and solve real-world operational challenges (e.g., systems that interpret context, plan actions, call tools/services, and complete tasks end-to-end).
- Apply secure coding practices to prevent security vulnerabilities in code and contribute to enterprise standards that enable safe, scalable Agentic AI adoption.
- Integrate LLMs into SaaS applications via secure, robust service layers and APIs, including orchestration, evaluation, and implement modern GenAI patterns such as RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation)
- Design and implement scalable backend services in Python and REST APIs that support AI/agent capabilities and product workflows.
- Partner with UX/design and product stakeholders to deliver intuitive AI/agent user experiences for enterprise users.
- Build, deploy, and operate cloud-native services in Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform)
- Collaborate with data engineering teams to ensure data quality, governance alignment, and performance for AI/agent use cases.
- Containerize services using Docker and support CI/CD pipelines for reliable delivery.
- Provide technical leadership as a senior individual contributor driving architecture, code quality, engineering best practices, and mentor team members.
- Demonstrated professional software engineering experience building SaaS applications with scalable backend services and modern frontends.
- Experience integrating LLMs / Generative AI in cloud-based applications.
- Experience building Agentic AI systems that automate real-world workflows and integrate with APIs/tools/services.
- Strong proficiency in Python.
- Strong experience with REST API design and implementation.
- Experience with UI/UX development frameworks that include React, JavaScript, Svelte, Angular, TypeScript, HTML5/CSS3.
- Cloud experience with Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform).
- Database experience with MongoDB, vector database Milvus, plus one or more relational databases (MS SQL, Oracle).
- Experience with Docker/containerization, and Kubernetes based container orchestration.
- Experience in contributing to application architecture and design.
- Experience in data modeling, domain-driven design, and test-driven development.
- Experience in Agile methodologies and Azure CI/CD automation.
