McKean County Department of Human ServicesThis position supports key quality improvement and oversight efforts within the county. The work strengthens services through planning, review, and coordination. As a County Intellectual Disabilities Program Specialist 1, you will perform the following duties:
- Quality Plan Development: Create and manage quality management plans that align with statewide strategies
- Risk Oversight: Lead risk management activities through data collection and coordination of review processes
- Certified Investigation Work: Complete certified investigations and present findings to appropriate teams
- Peer Review Participation: Take part in quarterly peer reviews for certified investigations
- IM4Q Leadership: Guide the Independent Monitoring for Quality initiative, including survey and data organization
- System Reporting: Use required systems for early intervention reporting and tracking
- Fiscal Monitoring: Conduct financial monitoring and annual contract reviews
- Department Support: Assist with additional tasks that help maintain smooth department operations
Work Schedule and Additional Information:
- Full-time employment
- Work hours are 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday – Friday. Occasional nights and weekends as needed as well as overtime.
- Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.

QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- Two years of professional experience in the field of intellectual disabilities, and a bachelor's degree; or
- An equivalent combination of experience and training.

- You must be able to perform essential job functions.
Legal Requirements:
- A conditional offer of employment will require a drug screening.
- This position falls under the provisions of the Child Protective Services Law.
