This position provides skilled nursing care in a long term care setting, ensuring that residents receive safe and appropriate treatment. The role requires careful assessment, teamwork, and a commitment to high quality service. As a Registered Nurse, you will perform the following duties:
- Resident Assessment: Evaluate resident conditions and determine care needs based on ongoing observations
- Care Coordination: Organize and guide nursing interventions and collaborate with interdisciplinary team members
- Medication Oversight: Administer medications and treatments accurately while monitoring resident responses
- Staff Guidance: Support and direct non professional nursing staff through instruction and on the job training
- Documentation Accuracy: Prepare clear written and oral reports to support communication and compliance
- Safety Practices: Maintain a therapeutic environment by applying infection control and emergency response procedures

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
- Full-time employment.
- Work hours are 2nd shift (2:45 PM to 11:15 PM, 30-minute lunch) or 3rd shift (11:00 PM to 7:00 AM, no lunch).
- Rotating on and off duty days including weekends and holidays.
- Rotation includes every other weekend off.
- Overtime and travel as needed.

- Salary: Selected candidates who are new to employment within the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania will begin employment at the starting annual salary of $93,888.00 (before taxes).

Necessary Special Requirements:
- This position requires active authorization to practice as a Registered Nurse in Pennsylvania.
- All employees possessing an active temporary practice permit must obtain licensure as a Registered Nurse within the one (1) year period defined by the Pennsylvania State Board of Nursing.
Other Requirements:
- PA residency requirement is currently waived for this title.
