This position focuses on maintaining medium voltage systems and supporting the safe operation of electrical equipment throughout the hospital campus. As a Medium Voltage Electrician, you will perform the following duties:
- System Maintenance: Inspect and service electrical equipment including transformers, switch gear, and distribution panels
- Emergency Readiness: Conduct routine test runs and upkeep of emergency standby generators
- Safety Compliance: Follow all safety standards and procedures while working with energized or high voltage systems
- Technical Diagnostics: Interpret readings, troubleshoot issues, and apply corrective actions when needed
- Electrical Repairs: Use proper tools, splice kits, and diagrams to repair or replace electrical components

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
- Full-time employment, 37.5 hours per week
- Work hours are 1st shift (7:00 AM to 3:00 PM), Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.

QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- Five years of journey-level experience in the electrical trade; or
- An equivalent combination of experience and training.
Conditions of Employment:
- This position requires possession of a valid Pennsylvania Driver's License.
