As a Clerical Assistant 2, you will perform the following duties:
- Phone and Mail Support: Answer phone calls, route inquiries, record messages, and handle incoming and outgoing mail
- Document Preparation: Type and review documents, correct errors, and prepare materials for distribution
- Scheduling Assistance: Organize appointments, coordinate meetings, and take minutes when required
- Record Management: Maintain filing systems, update databases, and complete end of year archiving
- Office Coordination: Track supplies, record office activity, and support smooth daily workflow
- General Tasks: Assist with copying, scanning, emailing, and keeping work areas tidy

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
- Full-time employment, 37.5 hours per week.
- Work hours are 8:00am to 4:00pm, Monday-Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
- Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.
- Salary: Selected candidates who are new to employment within the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania will begin employment at the starting annual salary of $36,108 (before taxes).

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- Six months as a Clerical Assistant 1 (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or
- Graduation from high school; or
- An equivalent combination of experience and training.
Additional Requirements:
- Successful completion of basic training in Elizabethtown, PA is required.
- Possess keyboarding skills to meet standards for speed and accuracy.
- Understand how to efficiently use and navigate a personal computer.
- Have the ability to work with various office equipment such as: scanner, printer, fax machine, computer, tablet, telephone, personal communication devices etc..
- You must be able to perform essential job functions.
Preferred Qualifications (not required):
- Able to stand and operate document scanning machines.

- You must pass a background investigation and meet Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) compliance requirements.
