This position focuses on creating and delivering health and safety training for the workers compensation community and the general public. As a Workers' Compensation Health and Safety Training Specialist traveling throughout the Commonwealth , you will perform the following duties:
- Training Delivery: Lead in person and virtual classes that teach important health and safety practices
- Material Development: Create and update educational content such as presentations, pamphlets, and other training resources
- Compliance Support: Guide employers in meeting safety requirements including Certified Workplace Safety Committee standards
- Site Evaluation: Review training sites to ensure accessibility, proper equipment, and an environment that supports learning
- Regulation Assistance: Help employers understand and follow Pennsylvania Worker and Community Right to Know requirements
- Program Review: Monitor and assess training programs to strengthen their quality and effectiveness

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
- Full-time employment
- Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with 30-minute lunch.
- Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time. The expectation will be that employees will be onsite two days a week. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg. The ability to telework is subject to change at any time. QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- Three years of professional experience in planning, developing and conducting health and safety training or education programs, which included the development of lesson plans; or
- An equivalent combination of experience and training.
Other Requirements:
- This particular position also requires possession of a valid driver's license.
