This position supports the imaging, organization, and correction of records for Driver and Vehicle Services. You will help ensure that important documents are captured accurately, stored properly, and prepared for future use. As a Clerical Assistant 2, you will perform the following duties:

  • Document Imaging: Operate an OPEX Falcon Scanner to create accurate digital images of Driver and Vehicle Services source documents
  • Record Management: Sort, organize, and store PSP project materials, including preparing record center boxes for future retrieval
  • Error Correction: Use CARATS inquiry and other systems to review and correct document discrepancies and inaccurate information
  • Training Support: Assist the clerical supervisor by training new employees on scanning procedures and PSP workflows
  • Workflow Assistance: Help distribute daily assignments and priority tasks to support efficient operations
  • Backup Tasks: Serve as the primary backup for UAT activities when needed

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
  • Full-time employment.
  • Work hours are 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, Monday-Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
  • Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.
  • Salary: Selected candidates who are new to employment within the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania will begin employment at the starting annual salary of $38,515.00 (before taxes).

QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
  • Six months as a Clerical Assistant 1 (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or
  • Graduation from high school; or
  • An equivalent combination of experience and training.

Additional Requirements:
  • You must be able to perform essential job functions.
