This position plays an important role in helping customers restore their driving privileges by ensuring that records are updated and requirements are met. As a Clerical Assistant 2, you will perform the following duties:
- Record Processing: Review and update driver and non-driver records based on submitted forms and documents
- Work Logging: Maintain accurate logs of incoming mail and assign work according to established priority order
- Task Distribution: Organize and distribute work to support unit goals and ensure timely processing
- Issue Reporting: Identify and report system problems to work leaders or supervisors immediately
- Quality Maintenance: Meet accuracy targets and follow feedback to uphold quality standards

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
- Full-time employment, 37.5 hours per week.
- Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 1-hour lunch.
- Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.
- Salary: Selected candidates who are new to employment within the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania will begin employment at the starting annual salary of $36,108 (before taxes).

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- Six months as a Clerical Assistant 1 (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or
- Graduation from high school; or
- An equivalent combination of experience and training.
- You must be able to perform essential job functions.

- This position requires the selected candidate to undergo and pass a Fingerprint and Name-Based Criminal History Check prior to employment.
