This position supports storeroom and inventory functions that keep SCI Huntingdon operating safely and efficiently. The role includes training and directing inmate workers in a secure environment. As a Corrections Stock Clerk, you will perform the following duties:
- Inmate Oversight: Direct and guide inmate workers through daily tasks and proper workplace procedures
- Training Support: Instruct inmate workers in shipping, receiving, inventory documentation, and equipment use
- Inventory Management: Maintain stock levels, issue supplies, and process necessary paperwork for damaged or missing goods
- Equipment Operation: Drive vehicles and operate forklifts or hand trucks to move materials and make deliveries
- Worksite Safety: Safeguard the work area, issue tools, and conduct searches for contraband
- Record Preparation: Prepare routine reports related to inmate attendance, work activity, and inventory processes

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
- Full-time employment, 40 hours per week
- Work hours are 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday - Friday.
- Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.

QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- One year of stockroom, warehouse, retail sales, or clerical experience; or
- An equivalent combination of experience and training.
Special Requirement:
- You must be in possession of an active motor vehicle license.
Additional Requirements:
- Successful completion of basic training in Elizabethtown, PA is required.
- You must be able to perform essential job functions.

- You must pass a background investigation and meet Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) compliance requirements.
