The Clerical Assistant 2 plays an important part in reviewing and entering key information that helps the Bureau of Motor Vehicles issue accurate and timely vehicle documents. The role involves checking forms, confirming requirements, and ensuring that all details meet accuracy standards. As a Clerical Assistant 2, you will perform the following duties:
- Document Review: Examine vehicle title and registration applications for accuracy and completeness
- Data Entry: Enter information from bureau forms into the computer system to support correct issuance of documents
- Verification Tasks: Confirm names, addresses, identification numbers, insurance, signatures, liens, and other required elements
- Fee Processing: Determine proper fees and apply fee waiver guidelines when needed
- Application Decisions: Accept or reject applications based on compliance with requirements

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
- Full-time employment, 40 hours per week.
- Work hours are 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
- Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.
- Salary: Selected candidates who are new to employment within the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania will begin employment at the starting annual salary of $38,515 (before taxes).

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- Six months as a Clerical Assistant 1 (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or
- Graduation from high school; or
- An equivalent combination of experience and training.
Additional Requirements:
- You must be able to perform essential job functions.
