We’re excited to search for a Workforce Identification & Access Specialist to join our UPMC Human Resources team!
This regular, full-time position offers daylight hours from Monday to Friday. While the primary workplace is the Quantum One Building in the Southside, the role requires flexibility to occasionally rotate to the US Steel Tower in downtown Pittsburgh and other Pittsburgh locations.
In this role, you’ll support the UPMC Threat Management & Employee Access department by creating UPMC standard identification and assigning access according to each role's requirements. You'll also engage in special projects, including new facility integrations.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with the management of UPMC's
- New Badge Request / Physical Access Request application.
- Assist with the maintenance of operational equipment and related supplies at the UPMC main workforce identification office and satellite workforce identification locations.
- Assist with the planning, execution, and production of workforce identification for large projects.
- Serve as an advisor on the UPMC ID Governance Committee when requested.
- Support workforce identification distribution locations.
- Support approved UPMC delivery and postal departments for deliveries.
- Provide UPMC employee and non-employee access to numerous UPMC locations.
- Assure that UPMC's workforce is provided access to locations appropriate to their roles.
- Remove access from UPMC's workforce who no longer require it.
- Coordinate with HRIS and UPMC's workforce needing standard UPMC identification because of job transfers, business unit changes and other related adjustments.
- Assign workforce access requests to UPMC locations not on the UPMC standard access system platform when requested through the access request portal.
Associate's degree, or equivalent, in Human Resources, Business or an Information Technology- related field
OR
- High school diploma with and two years experience working within an identification production / access programming field.
- Solid knowledge of typical Microsoft applications is required.
- Ability to perform the duties of the position with a significant degree of independence and initiative while exhibiting sound judgment required.
- Previous experience working within human resources and / or access control applications is preferred.
- Previous security experience preferred.
Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances:
- Act 34
