We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Production Engineer to support the successful execution of customer orders and system builds. This role serves as a key liaison between production, purchasing, sales, and customers to ensure projects are completed on time and without disruption. The ideal candidate excels at coordinating multiple priorities, managing order accuracy, and proactively resolving issues before they impact production schedules.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the production team to plan, coordinate, and oversee customer order assemblies
- Validate, process, and manage system orders to ensure accuracy and timely execution.
- Partner with the purchasing team to coordinate component procurement and availability, preventing delays in system builds
- Proactively identify and resolve potential issues before they impact production schedules
- Monitor, forecast, and communicate build status updates to sales teams and customers, ensuring visibility and alignment throughout the production process
Requirements:
- BS degree in a technical discipline (Electrical or Computer Engineering, Industrial or Manufacturing Engineering)
- 2-5 years’ experience managing some level of an electronics assembly process
- Experience Microsoft tools including Word, Excel, and Visio
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work in a team environment
