This role supports the smooth operation of a retail environment by guiding staff and assisting with store responsibilities. It combines leadership, customer service, and hands-on tasks throughout each shift. As a Sales Team Lead, you will perform the following duties:
- Shift Leadership: Guide clerks during assigned shifts and ensure store activities run smoothly
- Customer Support: Assist shoppers, answer questions, and promote a positive store experience
- Sales Processing: Operate the cash register and complete accurate sales transactions
- Stock Management: Unload shipments, stock shelves, and build organized product displays
- Clerk Training: Provide direction and instruction to less experienced staff on store procedures
- Record Reporting: Complete shift reports related to cash handling and inventory management

- Work hours will vary, totaling 75 hours biweekly.

QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- Six months as a Liquor Store Clerk 1 or Intermittent Liquor Store Clerk (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or
- Six months of retail sales work.
Other Requirements:

- You must be able to perform essential job functions.

- You must pass a background investigation. An applicant with a felony conviction within the last ten years of their prospective date of employment is not permitted to work for the PLCB, per section 210(c) of the Pennsylvania Liquor Code.
