This position supervises custodial staff to maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment throughout Warren State Hospital. Your primary duties will focus on organizing work, training staff, and ensuring that cleaning standards are met. As a Custodial Work Supervisor, you will perform the following duties:
- Plan Work: Develop schedules, prioritize projects, and organize daily tasks for staff
- Inspect Areas: Review cleaning work and ensure quality standards are met
- Train Staff: Teach employees proper cleaning methods, equipment use, and safety rules
- Manage Records: Maintain time records, evaluations, and documentation for staff
- Order Supplies: Request materials and report needed repairs within assigned areas
- Assist Crew: Help with physical tasks such as ladder work, washing surfaces, and equipment setup

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
- Full-time employment
- Work hours are 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
- Travel and overtime as needed.
- Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.

QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- One year as a Custodial Worker 2 (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or
- Two years of experience performing custodial work.

- You must be able to perform essential job functions.
Legal Requirements:
- A conditional offer of employment will require a medical examination.
- This position falls under the provisions of the Older Adult Protective Services Act.
- Under the Act, a conditional offer of employment will require submission and approval of satisfactory criminal history reports, including but not limited to, PA State Police and FBI clearance.
