We’re looking for someone who is detail-oriented and brings some experience or educational background in healthcare, pharmacy, operations, analytics, care management, or quality. In this role, you’ll receive the training and support to build your expertise and grow into a STARs subject matter expert.
You’ll work closely with clinical, pharmacy, operations, and analytics teams to understand performance, identify opportunities, and support improvement efforts across the organization.
This is a hybrid position with a 3 day in office commitment.
What You’ll Do:
- Build STARs Knowledge & Expertise
Develop a strong understanding of the Medicare STARs program, including Part C and Part D measures, performance drivers, and measure requirements. Learn how to interpret STARs guidance and begin building depth in key measures over time. - Monitor & Interpret Performance
Use dashboards and reports to track performance trends. Help translate data into clear insights, identify potential risks or gaps, and connect performance results to what’s happening operationally. - Support Quality Improvement Efforts
Assist with improvement initiatives by documenting activities, tracking progress, and participating in discussions to better understand root causes and opportunities to enhance performance. - Collaborate Across Teams
Partner with clinical, pharmacy, operations, and analytics teams to understand how their work impacts STARs performance. Communicate updates clearly and help ensure efforts align with program requirements. - Contribute to Consistent, High-Quality Work
Help maintain templates, summaries, and tools that support STARs performance tracking and reporting, while asking thoughtful questions and raising concerns when something doesn’t align.
What We’re Looking For:
- Early career candidate with some experience/exposure in healthcare, pharmacy, operations, analytics, care management, or quality

- High School Diploma/GED required, college degree preferred with 0-2 years experience in healthcare, quality, operations, analytics support, care management, pharmacy, or a related field OR relevant internships, academic projects, or coursework.
- Strong interest in Medicare, healthcare quality, and performance measurement.
- Ability and willingness to learn complex program rules and technical specifications.
- Strong attention to detail and comfort working in ambiguity.
- Continuous improvement/learning mindset.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate across teams and follow through on responsibilities.
