The University of Pittsburgh, Department of Neurology, Stroke Institute is hiring a Research Program Supervisor.
The Research Program Supervisor oversees day-to-day management and execution of multiple complex research projects, tracks project progress, assesses project needs, assigns tasks, and evaluates team performance. Assists with IRB submissions, screening, recruitment, enrollment, and assessments of study participants. Conducts research assessments on study participants, data collection, ensures protocols are followed correctly.
Oversees day-to-day management and execution of multiple complex research projects and ensures compliance with all funding agencies and sponsors. Constructs data collection instruments and crafts promotional materials. Troubleshoots data and manages database. Assists with screening, recruitment, and enrollment of study participants. Performs budgetary and purchasing functions.
Essential Functions include but are not limited to:
•Trains technical staff, research assistants, and graduate student researchers.
•Documents and assures compliance with IRBs requirements, federal and state regulations, funding agencies and sponsors that support ongoing research activities. IRB submissions.
•Constructs data collection instruments, collects, analyzes, and troubleshoots data and manages database. Compiles reports and present data findings as directed.
•Facilitates budgetary and purchasing decisions.
•Assists with screening, recruitment, enrollment, and assessments of study participants.
•Conducts research assessments on study participants, data collection, ensures protocols are followed correctly.
Mostly Sedentary. Must be able to get around a university setting.
