This role focuses on providing consistent and compassionate dental care to the inmate population at SCI Huntingdon. You will work closely with auxiliary staff while maintaining a reliable weekday schedule. As a Dentist, you will perform the following duties:
- Patient Care: Deliver basic dental exams and treatments for individuals in the facility
- Clinical Assessment: Evaluate oral health needs and determine appropriate treatment options
- Team Collaboration: Coordinate with auxiliary staff to ensure smooth daily operations
- Record Maintenance: Document dental findings and update patient records accurately
- Preventive Education: Guide patients on healthy oral care practices
- Treatment Planning: Develop and implement appropriate dental treatment plans

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
- Part-time employment, up to 30 hours per week
- The work schedule is to be determined. You will not be required to work weekends.

- Hourly rate: In some cases, the hourly rate may be non-negotiable. Selected candidates who are new to employment within the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania will begin employment at the starting hourly rate of $83.27 (before taxes).

QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- Graduation from an approved school of dentistry.
- Applicants will be considered to have met the educational requirements once they are within 3 months of graduating with a qualifying degree.
- You must possess a license to practice dentistry issued by the Pennsylvania State Board of Dentistry.
Other Requirements:
- Successful completion of basic training in Elizabethtown, PA is required.
- PA residency requirement is currently waived for this title.
- You must be able to perform essential job functions.
