This position is responsible for the strategic planning, implementation and evaluation of scheduled hospital-based maintenance work and cycle maintenance of patient areas for the Facilities, Engineering and Maintenance Department. Working closely with the department's management team and Project Superintendent, the Facilities Engineering Planner will support the coordination of multi-shop and interdepartmental maintenance work, acting as the on-site, primary liaison between clinical administration and the department, to ensure work is completed according to the pre-determined scope and schedule. As part of the centralized facility management team, this position will provide system-wide support for CMMS process control and standardization, implementing Best Practices to ensure database reliability and in-depth reporting for Environment of Care (EOC) compliance.

Responsibilities:
- Serve as a system-wide resource to initiate and implement scheduled maintenance work and cycle maintenance programs to ensure integrity of all maintenance-related data in the CMMS work order database. Audit the progress and quality of final products annually to ensure Best Practices and asset management standards are followed.
- Assist in formulating and revising the department Policies and Procedures, as well as periodically analyzing standard operation procedures for potential improvement.
- Serve as the department's main point of contact for Capacity Management and Clinical Administration to coordinate space requirements to conduct scheduled maintenance work within clinical areas in the OAK-SHY segment.
- Work with Facility Support Services (FSS) to follow system-wide protocols and oversee data importing for CMMS onboarding of new facilities; ensure proper coding within CMMS enterprise modules.
- Compile and provide executive leadership with various CMMS-based reports as needed, including work order statistics, cycle maintenance schedules, billing information, labor reports and staff productivity.
- Manage critical asset coding for compliance, Life Safety and disaster response efficiency, working in tandem with the Director of Compliance, as needed.
- Schedule and facilitate the OAK-SHY cycle maintenance program. This requires close communication with Capacity Management and Clinical Administration to acquire patient rooms, track downtime, monitor Infection Prevention and EVS measures for patient safety, and ensure data is tracked in the department's CMMS work order database. Effectively communicate all the department project activity to customers and provide for an efficient and safe process throughout.
- Manage the work order life cycle for data integrity and ensure data processes and reporting are appropriately secure and compliant.
- High school diploma or equivalent or associate degree/trade school or equivalent is required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Programs is required.
- Strong communication and written skills with the ability to respond and/or direct staff appropriately under stressful and/or emergency situations is required.
- Skills in database systems is preferred.
- Additional training in a technology-related field a plus.
- At least two years of experience working in an office, hospital, or commercial setting is preferred.
- Supervisory experience or collaborative experience working with multiple entities a plus.
