This position helps protect workers by reviewing, assessing, and guiding accident and illness prevention efforts across Pennsylvania. As a Workers' Compensation Accident Illness Prevention Analyst, you will perform the following duties:
- Program Audits: Conduct on site and online audits of accident and illness prevention programs to determine compliance with safety regulations
- Safety Verification: Verify information from certified workplace safety committees to ensure they meet regulatory standards
- Data Analysis: Analyze reports and documentation to evaluate the adequacy of safety programs and services
- Technical Guidance: Provide explanations of safety requirements and respond to inquiries from regulated parties
- Compliance Monitoring: Monitor corrective actions and track the resolution of deficiencies identified during audits
- Report Preparation: Prepare detailed audit reports for review and for communication with regulated entities

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
- Full-time employment
- Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with 30-minute lunch.
- Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time. The expectation will be that employees will be onsite two days a week. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg. The ability to telework is subject to change at any time. QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- Four years of experience in safety and/or loss control work which involved evaluating industrial accidents and illness, preparing reports, and making recommendations concerning safety and health in the workplace; or
- Two years of experience in safety and/or loss control work which involved evaluating industrial accidents and illnesses, preparing reports, and making recommendations concerning safety and health in the workplace, and a Bachelor's degree in industrial hygiene, industrial safety, or a closely related field; or
- Any equivalent combination of experience and training.
Other Requirements:
- This particular position also requires possession of a valid driver's license.
