Anderson, Coe & King, LLP has an immediate opening for an attorney with up to three years litigation and/or judicial clerkship experience.
This is a full-time Litigation Associate role based in Baltimore, MD. The Litigation Associate will assist in all stages of complex litigation, including fact investigation, legal research, drafting pleadings, motions, and discovery, and preparing case strategies under the supervision of senior attorneys. Daily responsibilities include reviewing and analyzing records, preparing deposition outlines and summaries, drafting correspondence to clients and opposing counsel, and managing case files and deadlines. The role involves attending hearings, depositions, mediations, and trials, as well as coordinating with clients, experts, and witnesses to support case preparation. The Litigation Associate will contribute to case evaluations, participate in strategy discussions, and help identify practical solutions that align with clients’ goals.

Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Law, with demonstrated experience or coursework in civil litigation and trial practice.
- Proficiency in drafting and arguing Motions, including dispositive motions, discovery motions, and procedural applications.
- Excellent legal Research skills, including case law, statutes, regulations, and industry-specific issues.
- Familiarity with state and federal Courts, including local rules, filing procedures, and courtroom practice in Maryland.
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school and admission to, or eligibility for prompt admission to, the Maryland Bar.
- Strong written and oral advocacy skills, with attention to detail and the ability to present complex issues clearly.
- Ability to manage multiple matters simultaneously, meet deadlines, and work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- High ethical standards, sound professional judgment, and a client-focused mindset.
- Prior litigation experience (e.g., clerkship, internships, or law firm practice) is required.
