Network Engineer Lead

Introduction:

As a Network Engineer Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing the design, implementation, and maintenance of our organization''s network infrastructure. You will work closely with a team of network engineers to ensure the stability and security of our network environment. Your expertise will be crucial in optimizing network performance and resolving complex network issues.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of network engineers in designing, implementing, and maintaining network infrastructure.
  • Manage network security measures, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, and zero trust architecture.
  • Implement and optimize routing and switching protocols such as BGP, OSPF, and EIGRP.
  • Oversee cloud networking projects, including AWS VPC, Azure VNet, and hybrid connectivity.
  • Work on data center networking projects, including Spine-Leaf architecture, VXLAN, and EVPN.
  • Collaborate with other teams to ensure seamless integration of network infrastructure with other systems.
  • Implement network automation solutions using Python, Ansible, and Terraform.
  • Monitor network performance and troubleshoot network issues using tools like SolarWinds and Splunk.
  • Adhere to ITIL processes and service management frameworks to ensure efficient network operations.

Requirements:

Required Skills & Expertise:

  • Strong expertise in routing and switching protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP).
  • Hands-on experience with SD-WAN, MPLS, VPNs, and network virtualization.
  • Deep knowledge of network security (Firewalls, IDS/IPS, Zero Trust architecture).
  • Experience with cloud networking (AWS VPC, Azure VNet, hybrid connectivity).
  • Proficiency in data center networking (Spine-Leaf architecture, VXLAN, EVPN).
  • Familiarity with load balancers (F5, Citrix ADC, NGINX).
  • Experience with network automation (Python, Ansible, Terraform).
  • Knowledge of monitoring and observability tools (SolarWinds, Splunk, etc.).
  • Strong understanding of ITIL processes and service management frameworks.
