Job description :
- Define and drive feature engineering strategy and roadmap
- Establish standards, governance, and best practices for reusable features
- Lead design of enterprise feature architecture and pipelines
- Oversee delivery of feature engineering backlog and priorities
- Ensure alignment across Feature Engineering, Platform, and Data Science teams
- Act as technical decision-maker and escalation point
- Drive adoption of feature store and reusable feature model
- Manage and mentor Senior Feature Engineers and Feature Engineers
- Partner with stakeholders to align features with business outcomes
Technical Leadership
- Deep expertise in feature engineering architecture and pipelines
- Advanced understanding of feature stores and ML platforms
- Experience designing enterprise-scale data systems
- Strong understanding of ML lifecycle and feature reuse strategy
Engineering & Platform
- Scalable architecture design (batch + real-time features)
- End-to-end platform integration (CI/CD, pipelines, feature store)
- Data governance, lineage, and standardization
Leadership & Strategy
- Team leadership and talent development
- Roadmap planning and backlog prioritization
- Stakeholder management (business + technical leadership)
- Cross-team coordination and alignment
Soft Skills
- Strategic thinking with execution focus
- Strong communication (executive + technical audiences)

- 10 15+ years in Data Engineering / ML Engineering / Platform Engineering
- 3 5+ years in leadership or lead role (tech lead or team lead)
- Experience building or scaling enterprise data/feature platforms
- Proven ability to define architecture, standards, and governance models
- Experience managing cross-functional teams and large initiatives
