Key Responsibilities
Test Execution & Strategy: Design and execute detailed manual and automated test plans for mobile applications across physical devices, emulators, and simulators.
Automation Frameworks: Build, maintain, and expand automated mobile test scripts using Appium (Java/Python) or native frameworks (XCUITest for iOS, Espresso for Android).
Cross-Device & OS Testing: Perform compatibility matrix testing across varied screen resolutions, OS versions (iOS/Android), device manufacturers, and hardware capabilities.
Mobile-Specific Scenario Testing: Test interruption scenarios (incoming calls, SMS, push notifications), network transition/throttling (5G, 4G, offline mode), battery consumption, location services/GPS, and biometric authentication (Face ID/Touch ID).
