This position supports storeroom operations by managing inventory, ordering supplies, and maintaining accurate records for county maintenance work. Through your work, you will ensure that all necessary materials are available and properly documented to support safe and efficient highway operations. As a Stock Clerk 2, you will perform the following duties:
- Inventory Management: Maintain stock levels, review usage, and track items stored in multiple locations
- Record Keeping: Document transactions, update SAP entries, and reconcile inventory differences
- Ordering Supplies: Prepare purchase requisitions, obtain quotes, and follow up on pending orders
- Material Inspection: Check delivered items for accuracy and condition, and address any issues with vendors
- Storeroom Organization: Keep the storeroom clean, secure, and properly arranged for efficient access
- Equipment Operation: Use forklifts, hand trucks, and related equipment to load, unload, and move materials

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
- Full-time employment
- Work hours are 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
- Work hours are subject to change based upon seasonal requirements and operational needs.
- Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.
- Salary: Selected candidates who are new to employment with the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania will begin employment at the starting annual salary of $36,108.00 (before taxes).

QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- One year of experience in stockroom, warehouse, or clerical work; and graduation from high school; or
- Any equivalent combination of experience and training.
Additional Requirements:
- You must have experience using Microsoft Office programs.
- You must have experience using inventory systems.
- You must possess the ability to perform data entry tasks.
- You must possess the ability to maintain accurate records.
- You must be able to perform essential job functions.
Preferred Qualifications (not required):
- Experience operating a forklift.
