Keep the OR Moving as an Equipment Coordinator!
Every successful surgical day depends on having the right equipment, instruments, and supplies ready at the right time. As an Equipment Coordinator, you’ll be an important part of making that happen!
Working alongside nurses and the Surgical Services team, you’ll help prepare equipment for cases, manage shared resources, maintain specialty supplies, and ensure surgical teams have what they need to keep the day running smoothly.
Monday-Friday | 10:30 a.m.-7:00 p.m.
In this role, you’ll:
- Coordinate specialty equipment and shared resources for upcoming surgical cases.
- Support the setup and ordering of surgical instrument trays.
- Partner with Sterile Processing to address broken instruments and incomplete trays.
- Assist with lasers, video towers, microscopes, positioning equipment, cameras, telescopes, and other specialty equipment.
- Track equipment shared between the OR and ASC.
- Help clean, process, retrieve, and return minimally invasive instruments between cases.
- Maintain special-order supplies and assist with orthopedic inventory.
- Report equipment malfunctions to the appropriate support team.
- Work alongside the surgical team to support efficient case preparation and room turnover.
