Introduction
We are seeking a Senior Full-Stack Java Engineer to join our team in Pittsburgh, PA. This role will involve working on both the Java backend and React frontend of our applications, utilizing a range of technologies including Kubernetes, RESTful APIs, HTML5, and more. Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain backend services using Java and Spring Boot framework
- Create responsive and optimized frontend interfaces with React, HTML5, and CSS3
- Implement containerized deployment strategies using Docker and Kubernetes
- Work with cloud platforms such as Azure and AWS to deploy and manage applications
- Design and implement RESTful APIs and microservices using Spring Boot
- Collaborate with team members to ensure the success of projects
- Follow Agile and Scrum methodologies for project management
- Contribute to code reviews, testing, and troubleshooting efforts
Requirements
Required Skills/Qualifications:
- 10+ years of software development experience with a focus on full-stack development
- Proficiency in Java, Spring Boot framework, and microservices architecture
- Hands-on experience with React, HTML5, CSS3, and modern JavaScript
- Expertise with Docker containerization and orchestration tools
- Experience with cloud platforms like Azure and AWS
- Knowledge of designing and implementing RESTful APIs and microservices
- Working knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases
- Familiarity with CI/CD practices, version control, and automated testing frameworks
- Understanding of software design patterns and domain-driven design principles
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
