Job Description:
The Application Architect will help establish consistency across platforms, improve and standardize implementation practices, strengthen database and application flow design, and identify integration gaps and automation opportunities across my portfolio. You will cover core corporate functions and back office support, which requires a wide range of applications, support, and capabilities.
Responsibilities:
- Ability to design end-to-end application architecture
- Strong knowledge of logical, physical, and reference architecture design
- Expertise in creating process flows, data flow diagrams, and solution blueprints
- Proficiency with diagramming tools such as Draw.io, Visio, or similar
- Ability to align architecture to business capabilities across multiple LOBs
- Strong SQL, SSIS, and SQL Server expertise is a plus
- Experience in data modeling, conceptual, logical, and physical is a plus
- Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure
- Knowledge of Java Architecture, API, and integration patterns
- Knowledge of SSO, SAML, and identity and access management is preferred
- Understanding of AI/ML solution patterns preferred
- Experience in financial domains, governance risks, compliance, finance, accounting, HR, and treasury is preferred
- Ability to guide teams through architectural decisions and trade-offs.
