Key Responsibilities
- Gather, analyze, and document business, functional, and technical requirements for integration projects.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business processes and identify integration opportunities.
- Create detailed business requirements documents (BRDs), functional requirements documents (FRDs), user stories, process flows, and data mapping specifications.
- Work closely with developers, architects, and QA teams to ensure successful implementation of integration solutions.
- Analyze source and target systems, data flows, APIs, and interfaces to support integration design and development.
- Facilitate requirements gathering sessions, workshops, and stakeholder meetings.
- Assist in defining test scenarios, validating business requirements, and supporting UAT activities.
- Identify risks, dependencies, and gaps in integration processes and recommend solutions.
- Support Agile project delivery by participating in sprint planning, backlog refinement, and other Agile ceremonies.
- Ensure integration solutions align with business objectives and enterprise standards.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst supporting technology or integration projects.
- Strong experience gathering and documenting business and functional requirements.
- Experience working on system integrations, API implementations, middleware platforms, or data migration projects.
- Knowledge of REST/SOAP APIs, JSON, XML, and data mapping concepts.
- Experience with Agile and Waterfall project methodologies.
- Strong communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience using Jira, Confluence, Visio, or similar tools.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in Banking, Financial Services, Healthcare, Insurance, or Retail industries.
- Exposure to integration platforms such as MuleSoft, Boomi, Informatica, Tibco, or Azure Integration Services.
- Understanding of ETL processes, data warehousing, and cloud-based integrations.
- Experience working with SQL and database concepts.
- CBAP, CCBA, PMI-PBA, or Agile certifications are a plus.
