Key Responsibilities

  • Document data mappings, field specifications, transformation logic, expected behavior, error handling, and exceptions; analyze integrations with CRM, reporting, and third-party applications.
  • Review data models, stored procedures, reporting specifications, and integration designs; identify data-quality issues and source limitations.
  • Develop test strategies, plans, and reusable cases with clear steps, representative data, expected results, and acceptance criteria.
  • Maintain a requirements traceability matrix linking approved requirements to test cases and identifying coverage gaps.
  • Execute data validation and reconciliation tests for integrations, conversions, and reports, including record counts and source-to-target comparisons.
  • Coordinate system, integration, regression, performance, and UAT testing; work with developers on defect resolution.
  • Manage defects from classification and prioritization through triage, retesting, resolution, and closure.
  • Report test coverage, results, defects by severity, risk, and readiness; support evidence-based sign-off decisions.
  • Maintain testing standards, templates, naming conventions, evidence practices, reusable cases, and regression suites; recommend practical requirements, testing, traceability, and automation tools.
  • Guide business testers, translate technical scenarios into business steps, review vendor testing deliverables against requirements and contracted scope, and train peers and testers.
  • Support data-conversion and migration validation, including reconciliation against source systems.

Minimum Education & Experience Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, business, or equivalent work experience.
  • At least 3 years of combined experience in business analysis, software quality assurance, test analysis, or a related role.
  • Experience eliciting and documenting business requirements and converting them into testable acceptance criteria.

  • Experience creating test plans, traceable test cases, defect documentation, and UAT support materials.
