Magee - Women's Hospital of UPMC is hiring a Full Time Dietitian, Generalist to support the OP Oncology Unit.
This position will work daylight shifts. No weekend and holiday availability is required to support the hours of operation.

Purpose:
Provide nutrition-related expertise in the interdisciplinary team management of all patients and clients.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately assess patient's nutritional status, identify nutritional risk, develop plans of care and evaluate outcomes. Consult with physician and other health care personnel to determine nutritional needs and diet restrictions as needed.
- May engage in research, training and mentoring of dietetic students/interns and supportive personnel.
- Provide nutritional education to patients and their families in nutritional principles, dietary plans, food selection, and preparation.
- Accountable as nutrition liaison/expert to assigned unit responding to needs and initiatives for nutrition care process improvement.
For individuals who obtained their Registered Dietitian (RD) certification prior to January 1, 2026, a bachelor’s degree in Nutrition or Dietetics is required.For individuals who obtained their Registered Dietitian (RD) certification on or after January 1, 2026, a master’s degree in Nutrition or Dietetics is required.
Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances:
Registered Dietitian (RD) or Registry Eligible (obtain RD within 6 months of hire)Licensed Dietitian-Nutritionist in Pennsylvania (within 1 year of hire)
