As an Applications Developer 2, your work will focus on supporting the Datacap and FileNet products and infrastructure that manage and organize important digitally stored documents for the EBR DC. We will rely on you to work with a variety of technical teams to ensure these systems run smoothly and meet the needs of many projects. Responsibilities in this role include:
- Mid-Level IT Administration: Help install, maintain, configure, document, upgrade, and monitor Datacap and FileNet development and functionality across all environments
- Technical Collaboration: Assist teams from multiple functional areas in completing projects that meet the scanning and content management requirements of enterprise business needs
- Project Development: Contribute to discussions about agency utilization of Datacap and FileNet; assist in the coordination and implementation of new projects, changes to current projects, and standards for product use
- User Support: Solve problems of average complexity including routine day-to-day problems or performance issues raised by users; work with vendor staff to troubleshoot and resolve outstanding issues in a timely manner
- Product Knowledge: Maintain familiarity with Datacap and FileNet versions, research potential upgrades and recognize impacts to business processes

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
- Full-time employment
- Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 60-minute lunch.
- Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time. This position currently reports to the office on Wednesday and Thursday each week. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg. The ability to telework is subject to change at any time. QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- One year as an Applications Developer 1 or Computer Programmer 3 (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or
- Four years of information technology experience that includes two years of experience in applications development or applications maintenance; or
- Two years of information technology experience in applications development or applications maintenance, and an associate’s degree in any information technology field; or
- A bachelor's degree in any information technology field.
- Applicants will be considered to have met the educational requirements once they are within three months of graduating with a qualifying degree.
