This position focuses on ensuring that personal care homes and assisted living residences follow state laws and protect the well-being of residents. The role involves fieldwork, collaboration, and careful review of important information. As a Human Services Licensing Representative, you will perform the following duties:
- Conduct Inspections: Carry out initial, annual, interim, and provisional follow-up inspections to check compliance with state laws and regulations
- Investigate Complaints: Gather facts when complaints are received to determine whether facilities meet required standards
- Interview Stakeholders: Speak with residents, staff, families, and professionals to collect information about facility practices
- Review Records: Examine medical, legal, and program documents to assess compliance with regulations
- Provide Assistance: Offer guidance to facility staff on how to meet licensing requirements
- Support Relocation: Help coordinate resident moves from noncompliant homes to safe living arrangements

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
- Full-time employment
- Work hours are 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
- Travel throughout Somerset, Cambria, Blair, Bedford, Huntingdon, Fulton, Franklin, Mifflin, Juniata, Perry, Cumberland, Adams, Dauphin, York, Lebanon, and Lancaster Counties is required.
- This position is home headquartered. In order to be home headquartered, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania.

QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- Two years of professional experience gathering and analyzing information in a social service or law enforcement program, and a bachelor’s degree; or
- An equivalent combination of experience and training.

- Candidate must reside in or be willing to relocate to the Central Region which includes Somerset, Cambria, Blair, Bedford, Huntingdon, Fulton, Franklin, Mifflin, Juniata, Perry, Cumberland, Adams, Dauphin, York, Lebanon, and Lancaster counties.
- You must be able to perform essential job functions.
