The Department of Physical Therapy at the University of Pittsburgh, features a top 10 ranked DPT program (2025 US News and World Report). The Department of Physical Therapy is housed in the School of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences (SHRS), one of the six Schools of Health Sciences. We offer an entry-level DPT degree, and post-professional programs leading to a Master of Science in Physical Therapy, PhD in Rehabilitation Sciences, and dual DPT-PhD in Bioengineering degrees as well as post-graduate certificates. The DPT degree is delivered in residential and hybrid formats.

The Student Services Assistant Director coordinates and implements activities related to student registration and student records while ensuring adherence to University standards and timely and accurate transmission of registration-related data. Assists in administering student-services processes and executing student activities. Works with student leadership to deliver high-quality, curriculum-related programming. Analyzes statistics for administration.
The Student Services Assistant Director leads strategic planning and implementation of student-services quality-improvement initiatives identified through the program's CAPTE reaccreditation self-study, develops and implements registration and records policy tailored to the program's non-standard curriculum in partnership with the University and SHRS Registrar's offices, and owns statistical analysis and reporting used by program leadership for accreditation and curricular decision-making. The role also oversees student-services functions spanning conduct standards, health/technical-standards compliance, the admissions-to-matriculation transition, program financial administration, and multicultural/heritage programming, and directs planning and delivery of curriculum-related student events.
Position is mainly sedentary. Must be able to sit for up to 8 hours per day.
Must be able to reach and bend for office supplies and files.
