Job Description:
IT Field Service Technician
Remote Field Offices | Travel up to 25% | Monday-Friday, 8 AM-5 PM (with occasional after-hours support)
Join a dynamic IT team supporting critical midstream energy operations across remote field locations. As an IT Field Service Technician, you will provide hands-on and remote technical support for end users, ensuring reliable, secure, and efficient IT services across office and operational environments. This role is ideal for an IT professional who enjoys solving complex technical issues, supporting users face-to-face, and working in a fast-paced field environment.
What You'll Do
Deliver Tier 2 desktop and end-user support for hardware, software, mobile devices, and peripherals
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Windows 10/11, Microsoft 365, Teams, Outlook, VPN, Citrix, wireless networking, printers, and conferencing technologies
Image, deploy, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, tablets, and handheld field devices
Manage and track IT assets while ensuring compliance with asset management policies and standards
Escalate complex issues to Tier 3 support teams and coordinate onsite support when needed
Support phone systems, local network connectivity, Cisco voice solutions, and office AV technologies
Assist with patching, security controls, antivirus support, access management, risk documentation, and change management processes
Collaborate across IT teams to improve processes, reduce outages, and enhance the customer experience
What We're Looking For
3-5 years of IT support, desktop support, or field services experience
Strong customer service mindset with experience supporting end users and VIP stakeholders
Expertise supporting Windows 10/11, Microsoft 365, Outlook, Teams, iOS devices, VPN, Citrix, and wireless networks
Knowledge of workstation deployment, hardware troubleshooting, asset management, and network connectivity
Strong communication, technical writing, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently, prioritize competing demands, and support critical business operations
