This position focuses on coordinating and supporting complex construction and renovation projects across Commonwealth facilities. As a Facilities Project Manager 2, you will perform the following duties:
- Project Coordination: Align project scopes and facility needs by working closely with Facilities Management and Capital Planning
- Technical Oversight: Evaluate drawings, specifications, and site conditions to verify compliance with standards
- Contract Management: Manage contracts, amendments, and change orders while ensuring compliance with procurement requirements
- Budget Monitoring: Track expenditures, schedules, and risks to support timely and cost-effective project delivery
- Documentation Review: Maintain accurate project records and prepare updates and reports for leadership
- Compliance Support: Verify adherence to building codes, safety regulations, and requirements throughout project execution

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
- Full-time employment
- Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
- Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time, 2 days per week. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg. The ability to telework is subject to change at any time. QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- Two years as a Construction Project Administrator 1 (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or
- Eight years of experience in building construction administration, construction planning, or multi-trade building construction project management in commercial or industrial facilities; or
- Four years of experience in building construction administration, construction planning, or multi-trade building construction project management in commercial or industrial facilities; and a bachelor’s degree in construction technology, architecture, building science, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, civil engineering, building automation systems, or a closely related field; or
- An equivalent combination of experience and training which includes four years of experience in building construction administration, construction planning, or multi-trade building construction project management in commercial or industrial facilities.
Special Requirements:
- This position requires possession of an active motor vehicle license.
Additional Requirements:
- You must have five years of experience interpreting construction plans, specifications, and contract documents.
- You must have five years of experience using project management software to monitor construction schedules, budgets, and project progress.
- You must have five years of experience conducting construction site inspections and documenting project deficiencies or corrective actions.
- You must have five years of experience coordinating multiple construction projects simultaneously while meeting project schedules and deadlines.
- You must be able to perform essential job functions.
