This position supports the daily operations of a Driver License Center by helping customers complete required steps for licensing. The role is important to highway safety and to the accurate processing of identity documents. As a Driver License Examiner Assistant, you will perform the following duties:
- Customer Assistance: Greet customers and guide them through forms and licensing steps
- Document Review: Examine identification documents to confirm accuracy and prevent fraud
- Test Administration: Give vision screenings and knowledge tests to measure applicant readiness
- Data Entry: Enter customer information and test results into required computer systems
- Information Sharing: Provide clear answers about services, requirements, and licensing options
- Compliance Tasks: Follow all policies, fee waiver rules, and REAL ID regulations

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
- Full-time employment
- Work hours are 8:15 AM to 4:45 PM, Tuesday - Saturday, with a 30-minute lunch.
- Work overtime and travel to other Driver License Centers when needed
- Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.
- Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- One year of experience obtaining, evaluating, and providing information to the public.
Other Requirements:

- You must be able to perform essential job functions.
