As a Clerical Assistant 3 with the Department of Transportation, Bureau of Real ID, you will support an essential statewide program. This role places you at the center of verifying key documents that thousands of residents depend on. You will be part of a team that helps ensure safety, accuracy, and confidence in Real ID services. This position focuses on reviewing driver license records and documents to support accurate Real ID determinations. As a Clerical Assistant 3, you will perform the following duties:

  • Record Review: Research driver license records and microfilm to identify and resolve errors
  • Document Assessment: Examine identity and residency documents to confirm validity and compliance with guidelines
  • Real ID Support: Provide real time assistance to field staff and help ensure Real ID requirements are met
  • Issue Resolution: Investigate and correct problems related to Real ID products
  • Public Assistance: Respond to questions and concerns from customers and legislative offices

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

  • Full-time employment, 75 hours bi-weekly
  • Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Tuesday - Saturday, with a 60-minute lunch.
  • Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

  • One year as a Clerical Assistant 2 (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or
  • One year of moderately complex clerical experience; or
  • An equivalent combination of experience and training.

Additional Requirements:

  • You must be able to perform essential job functions.
