As an Overnight Part-Time Stock Associate, you’ll be working on a team to ensure neatly, well-stocked shelves. Key Responsibilities: (Removed several lines below that weren’t applicable, re: cash register, customer interaction, etc.)

  • Unload shipments, stock shelves, set up product displays, and follow marketing plans/shelf resets.
  • Receive, assemble, and pack wholesale customer orders.
  • Safely lift products – occasionally overhead or from a squatting position from the floor – weighing 30 to 50 pounds and occasionally up to 60 pounds, ensuring both personal safety and product protection.
  • Stand for extended periods of time.
  • Keep the store clean and organized.
  • Utilize scanners, box cutters, dollies, carts, hand trucks, and pallet jacks.
  • Work in a friendly, team-oriented environment where every night brings new challenges and rewards.
  • Rotates inventory to ensure older inventory is staged for first use.

Work Schedule and Additional Information: 

  • This store is accessible via public transportation, route L (Market-Frankford Line), FREE parking is available for staff, it is located near a variety of food and restaurant options.
  • This position is for an overnight associate, working while the store is closed for business, helping to stock during the overnight hours.
  • Permanent, part-time employment.
  • Preferred availability: 18 – 32 hours per week. Flexible shifts are available, typically ranging from 4 – 6.5 hours per shift. Availability on a rotating basis will be scheduled during the week and weekend, both of which with overnight hours.
    • Schedule details may change due to the operational needs of the store; applicants may be required to work schedules not outlined below.
    • Work schedules will be assigned between the following hours/days:
      • Thursday – Saturday, 10:30pm – 5:00am
  • Work hours: Work hours will vary. A minimum of 13 hours per week will be required with the ability to work more hours per week, depending on availability. Applicants interested in working additional shifts/hours above the minimum can discuss their availability with the General Manager. There is the opportunity to work up to 32 hours per week.
  • Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.
  • Store Location: You will be headquartered in the store listed at the top of this posting. You may be assigned to work in other stores within the county or district based on operational needs.   • Salary: The starting salary for this position for new Commonwealth employees is fixed at the minimum salary listed above and is not negotiable.

  • Necessary Special Requirement: Applicants must be at least 18 years of age.

An applicant with a felony conviction within the last ten years of their prospective date of employment is not permitted to work for the PLCB, per section 210(c) of the Pennsylvania Liquor Code.
