This role supports the management of several medical cost containment programs and helps guide contractor oversight, staff supervision, and policy review. The position requires careful analysis, clear communication, and consistent coordination across multiple stakeholders. As an Administrative Officer 1, you will perform the following duties:
- Program Support: Assist Division Chief with oversight of fee schedules, utilization review, impairment rating evaluation, and accessibility studies
- Contractor Monitoring: Review vendor reports, identify concerns, and coordinate communication among Bureau, Department, and contractors
- Stakeholder Liaison: Respond to inquiries, provide guidance on medical fee schedules, and represent the Bureau in various program areas
- Data Analysis: Study legislative changes, case law, and trends to recommend updates to policies, procedures, and operations
- Staff Supervision: Lead clerical staff, develop cross training plans, and ensure compliance with Workers Compensation Act provisions

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
- Full-time employment
- Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with 30-minute lunch.
- Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time, with the expectation employees will be onsite two days a week. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg. The ability to telework is subject to change at any time. QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- Two years of experience in varied office management or staff work; and bachelor's degree; or
- Any equivalent combination of experience and training.
