As an Administrative Officer 1 for the Department of Transportation, you will help manage key processes that ensure accurate vehicle titling and program oversight. This position supports specialized vehicle programs by managing administrative processes and reviewing complex titling and registration work. As an Administrative Officer 1, you will perform the following duties:
- Program Oversight: Manage the review and processing of specially constructed, modified, and short VIN vehicles
- Policy Recommendations: Provide suggestions and justifications for changes to policies and procedures
- Data Analysis: Collect and analyze information for accuracy, fraud detection, and program improvement
- Customer Guidance: Conduct site visits and advise customers on required safety specifications
- Training Support: Provide training and update manuals to ensure consistent program knowledge
- Interagency Coordination: Work with other bureaus and law enforcement to review applications and address concerns

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
- Full-time employment, 75 hours bi-weekly
- Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 60-minute lunch.
- This position may be eligible for alternate work schedule (AWS)
- Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg. The ability to telework is subject to change at any time. QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- Two years of experience in varied office management or staff work; and bachelor's degree; or
- Any equivalent combination of experience and training.
Additional Requirements:
- You must be able to perform essential job functions.
