In a shared role between the Dietrich School of Arts & Sciences (DSAS) Graduate Studies Office and the School of Public and International Affairs (SPIA), this position combines graduate admissions coordination responsibilities currently performed separately for the Dietrich School of Arts & Sciences and the School of Public & International Affairs. The incumbent will act as a liaison between each school's Graduate Studies/Dean's office and prospective, applicant, and enrolled students; will develop and maintain expertise in each school's admissions policies and systems (Liaison, DASH, PeopleSoft, Salesforce, Marketing Cloud, PittFundsMe); and will oversee admissions processing, recruitment support, data management, and scholarship/funding coordination for both units, as well as related duties.


The successful candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented, skilled in time management, comfortable working across multiple information systems and two academic units, and passionate about supporting students through the admissions and enrollment process.

Advises students and prospective students on admissions, financial aid, academic requirements, career development, and/or campus activities. Coordinates school-wide academic advising and peer mentoring programs. Implements program activities and works with Admissions and Career Services to provide quality program information and administer multiple types of information sessions. Corresponds with those seeking admissions standards and academic and non-academic programs. Assists with special projects and trains lower level employees, students, and volunteers.

Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, excellent verbal and written communication between faculty, staff, and students. Customer service skills. Basic data management and application processing skills.

This position is generally sedentary. Some stooping, bending, lifting, light walking are required.
