Job Title: ETL Lead Developer
Location: Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania
Type: Permanent Full Time
Work Model: Hybrid – onsite and remote

Responsibilities

  • Aligns business strategy with software solutions.
  • Proposes, designs & codes software solutions to address complex business needs.
  • Oversees technical and procedural documentation required.
  • Leads complex problem solving.
  • Provides technical guidance and support to colleagues and solution development.
  • Displays an innovative approach to apply modern principles, methodologies, and tools to advance business initiatives and capabilities.

Requirements

  • 6-8 years of experience working in relational database design with Oracle and Teradata.
  • Proficient in Informatica, with a good knowledge of ETL development.
  • Strong experience in design, building, and testing the Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL) applications.
  • Experience working with enterprise data warehouses.
  • Familiarity extracting data from multiple data sources such as DB2, Oracle, and flat files.
  • Familiarity with database stored procedures.
  • Strong SQL experience required.
  • Experience working in Linux environment and Shell scripting.
  • Provide end user support including business queries and requests.
  • Provide reviews of the deliverables and identify gaps and areas of improvement.
  • Maintain in-depth and up-to-date knowledge of standards, guidelines, and industry trends for Data Integration, Data Migration, and Architectures.
  • Fulfill and design the development for logical data models as well as physical data models.
  • Propose, design & code software solutions to address complex business needs.
  • Oversee technical and procedural documentation required.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to colleagues and solution development.
  • Display an innovative approach to apply modern principles, methodologies and tools to advance business initiatives and capabilities.
  • Strong agile/scrum development experience.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills within distributed project teams.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
