We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Fulfillment Center Operations Manager (Liquor Store General Manager 4) to lead the operations of our fulfillment center (FC) in Broomall. The manager is responsible for leading store teams in driving sales, brand loyalty, setting expectations, and providing exceptional customer service as well as recruiting and developing top retail talent. This position has full accountability for the key financial results of the store and is responsible for the overall leadership and development of the store by building an independent, high-performing team that is dedicated to achieving results and supporting brand strategies.
This position oversees the daily and strategic operations of FC operations and projects for the Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board (PLCB). We manage and control a statewide network of regional FC operations to support a robust and growing wholesale customer network as well as both the regional FCs and central office staff. As a Fulfillment Center Operations Manager, you will perform the following duties:
- Operational Leadership: Direct, supervise, and participate in the work of subordinate staff; implement and apply policies and procedures; and ensure a safe workspace
- Business Process Oversight: Ensure adherence to all marketing, merchandising, and promotional activities; resolve all inventory-related issues; handle accounting for store-wide cash management issues; and complete all store records
- Personnel Management: Oversee and participate in store recruitment, interviewing and hiring, and the development of store staff schedules; resolve personnel issues
- Continuous Training: Provide on-the-job training and instruction, coaching, and guidance for job responsibilities of clerks, shift runners and/or assistant managers
- Service Oversight: Ensure that all contracted service providers, including trash removal, armored car service, and snow removal, are performing their duties in accordance with established standards
- Performance Analysis: Review and assess store performance metrics including reports on store profits or losses, energy usage, personnel assignments, inventory issues, product shrinkage, and product promotional results

QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- One year as a Liquor Store General Manager 3C (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration; or
- Two years as a Liquor Store General Manager 3B (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or
- Three years as a Liquor Store General Manager 3A (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or
- Four years as a Liquor Store General Manager 2B (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or
- Five years as a Liquor Store Assistant Manager 3 or a Liquor Store General Manager 2A (Commonwealth job titles or equivalent Federal Government job titles, as determined by the Office of Administration); or
- Eight years of supervisory retail sales work.
