Our Fine Wine & Good Spirits (FW&GS) Store in Mckeesport is looking for a Full-Time Sales Team Lead (Liquor Store Clerk 2)  - apply today! 

This position supports the smooth and safe operation of a busy retail liquor store by guiding staff and assisting customers. The role focuses on keeping store tasks organized and helping maintain quality service. As a Sales Team Lead, you will perform the following duties:

  • Customer Support: Assist customers, resolve concerns, and guide them to needed products
  • Inventory Checks: Monitor merchandise levels and update electronic inventory systems
  • Store Procedures: Ensure opening, closing, and daily routines follow established standards
  • Cash Oversight: Maintain accurate cash counts, prepare deposits, and control access to the safe
  • Sales Accuracy: Operate registers, verify POS information, and resolve pricing or product discrepancies
  • Staff Direction: Assign tasks, train new employees, and oversee daily workflow

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

  • Work hours will vary, totaling 75 hours biweekly.

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

  • Six months as a Liquor Store Clerk 1 or Intermittent Liquor Store Clerk (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or
  • Six months of retail sales work. 

Other Requirements:

  • You must be able to perform essential job functions.

Legal Requirements:

  • You must pass a background investigation. An applicant with a felony conviction within the last ten years of their prospective date of employment is not permitted to work for the PLCB, per section 210(c) of the Pennsylvania Liquor Code. Other criminal convictions will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
